The RYOBI Door Hinge Kit makes it easier to install new hinges. The door hinge template has a robust non-marring clamp to help prevent scratches and damage to the door. This template can be attached to timber doors of any standard thickness without using screws or nails. Use the template’s hinge depth gauge to adjust the depth of the notch being created for installing a hinge. The template also has metric markings to ensure precise measurements. Reversible and detachable on-board edges clip in to accommodate ½” and ¼” round and square hinges. This kit also has a purpose-built router bit with a guard designed to prevent damaging the template. Secure the template to your door by tightening the side knob. With the Template attached, you have a guide for your trim/full- size router to create a perfectly sized notch for a door hinge.
