This alarm is suitable for residential properties and offers a slim, user-friendly design that makes it perfect for use in any living area. It can be easily installed on the wall, allowing the digital display to be clearly visible, or used freestanding on a table or shelf for added convenience.The alarm is equipped with a 10-year sealed battery, ensuring continuous monitoring of CO levels in your home without the need for frequent battery replacements. When elevated levels of carbon monoxide are detected, the alarm emits a loud warning signal, alerting you to potential danger.It’s important to emphasise that CO alarms are meant to complement, not replace, traditional smoke alarms. A CO alarm is not a smoke alarm and does not fulfil the legal requirements for smoke alarm installation in a home.This alarm is designed to detect carbon monoxide gas from ANY source of combustion. It is NOT designed to detect any other gas. Exposure to vibration and variations in operating temperatures typical of use in motor homes, caravans and campers can significantly reduce the life expectancy of the device and void the products warranty. Only CO alarms certified to EN50291-2 are fully approved for this purpose.
