You can even make wood plugs out of scraps of the same material you’re working on to match a wood grain and create a more seamless finish.The Plug Cutter is engineered with a sharp cutting edge to produce clean and precise cuts out of new or recycled timber. It makes straight plugs, which are easy to sand flush compared to dowels and/or tapered plugs.A black oxide coating reduces friction and heat build-up to prevent burn marks on workpieces.
